A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE
We have always believed that style and substance can coexist. In today’s world we have many choices. As a designer - choices to be sustainably conscious about what you make; from sourcing materials to paying close attention to every step of your supply chain. As a consumer - choices on what you buy and knowing where it came from.
We aim to keep our values strong with fresh, fun and contemporary design, all the while maintaining integrity and putting environmental and social responsibility at the heart of our brand.
Please watch our video below to find out how our swimwear is made using ECONYL® regenerated yarn and how it is recycled from discarded fishing nets and other Nylon waste.
SELFRIDGES X AURIA
In 2016 Selfridges chose AURIA be one of their 'Bright New Things'. This was their special platform to put a spotlight on sustainable fashion brands in the UK.
AURIA was founded by Diana Auria in 2013. She studied at Central St Martins and went on to specialise in lingerie and swim design at the London College of Fashion.
Her craft and care is balanced with conscious innovation and playful style to flatter the modern woman.
Diana is a proud ambassador of sustainability within the fashion industry and has spoken on the subject at various talks including one at The Royal Society of Arts. She has also worked on special sustainable projects with Selfridges and Sony.
SONY X AURIA
We teamed up with tech giant Sony for a special sustainable collaboration. We recycled their H.ear headphone wires to create a beautiful capsule travel collection which included beach sliders, a sunglasses case, beach bag, phone case and passport holder.
COMMISSIONS, CONSULTATIONS AND COLLABORATIONS
We also work on swimwear consultations, commissions and always welcome collaboration proposals. In the past we have worked with Silver Spoon Attire, Ashley Williams, Marta Jakubowski and many more.
